How I work

Clear process, predictable results

01

Briefing and analysis

I receive the brief from the client or agency: goals, features, references and technical requirements. From that I define the project scope and architecture.

02

Design review

I review the provided design files (Figma, XD or similar) or the chosen theme, identifying components, states and interactions before starting development.

03

Development

I implement the design in WordPress: child theme or custom theme, Gutenberg blocks, custom post types, ACF and the necessary integrations. Clean, well-documented code.

04

Optimization and technical SEO

I configure speed, security, caching, technical SEO and all the aspects that determine real-world performance in production.

05

Delivery and support

I deliver the documented project with all access credentials and everything in order. I provide support during the adaptation period and resolve any post-launch issues.

Portfolio

I have developed websites for businesses across different sectors, always with the goal of creating professional, fast and easy-to-use websites.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take for the website to be ready?

The development timeline depends on the complexity of the project. A straightforward project, such as a five or six page corporate website without special integrations, is typically ready within two to three weeks from the moment all content and materials are available. For larger projects involving custom features, multiple sections or integrations with external services, the usual timeline ranges from four to six weeks. The final schedule is agreed at the start of the project and respected as closely as possible. If an unexpected situation arises that could affect the delivery date, I will communicate it in advance so we can find the best solution together and minimise any impact. In all cases, I work to meet the agreed commitments and keep you informed of progress throughout the development.

Does it include maintenance and support?

The project includes technical support during the delivery and adaptation period, which typically covers the first few weeks after launch. During this time I resolve any issues that may arise and make sure everything works correctly in production. Additionally, I offer optional monthly maintenance plans for those who prefer to delegate the technical management of the website. These plans include regular updates to WordPress and its plugins, automatic backups, security reviews and priority support for any problems. Preventive maintenance is especially important for avoiding security vulnerabilities and ensuring the website runs reliably in the long term. If you prefer to manage the website independently, I also provide training so you can do so without relying on external support.

Will I be able to manage the content myself?

Yes, managing the content of your WordPress website is straightforward and requires no technical knowledge. I configure the admin panel in a clear and organised way so you can add, edit and delete pages, posts, images and any other content intuitively. I also use the Gutenberg block editor or visual builders when the project calls for it, making editing even easier without touching any code. Once the project is delivered, I include a basic user guide explaining step by step how to carry out the most common tasks: creating a new page, publishing a blog post, updating images and more. If you ever need additional support, I can also offer personalised training for you or your team to make sure you feel confident managing the site independently.

Do you work with multilingual WordPress?

Yes, I have experience developing multilingual WordPress websites using the most established plugins on the market, primarily WPML and Polylang. Both solutions allow you to create site versions in different languages with translation management, independent URLs per language and correct hreflang configuration for international SEO. The choice between WPML or Polylang depends on the project needs: WPML offers greater integration with third-party plugins, while Polylang is lighter and sufficient for most projects. In all cases I make sure the language configuration follows international SEO best practices, including correct hreflang tags, canonical URLs and avoiding duplicate content between language versions of the site. I also configure language switchers that are accessible and properly integrated within the site design.

Do you migrate existing websites to WordPress?

Yes, I can migrate your current website to WordPress while maintaining SEO, URLs and all existing content. The process includes a prior analysis of the current website, planning the structure in WordPress, migrating content and setting up redirects to preserve search rankings. One of the most critical aspects of any website migration is ensuring no positions are lost on Google. To achieve this, I correctly configure 301 redirects, canonical tags and URL structure so that search engines recognise the equivalence between old and new pages. Once the migration is complete, I carry out a thorough review to verify that all content has been transferred correctly and that the technical performance meets the defined goals. I also monitor the site after launch to detect and resolve any indexing issues promptly.

Do you work with agencies or only direct clients?

I work with both. For agencies I act as an external technical developer: I receive the design delivered by the design team (Figma, XD or other formats) and take full responsibility for the technical development in WordPress, following the project specifications and communicating progress clearly and professionally. It is a working format I know well and I adapt easily to each agency's workflows and tools. For direct clients I also coordinate with their design team if they have one, or advise on the best visual and functional solution for their project. In both cases the process is equally rigorous: initial analysis, custom development, optimisation and documented delivery with all access credentials and materials. Whether working with an agency or a direct client, my goal is always the same: reliable technical execution and clear communication throughout.
